MCO 4318 Presentations of country papers – 2 (10% total)
Learning Objectives:
· To understand more specific information about international communication within countries
· To understand how mass communication differs around the world
· To understand the breadth of information available about communication throughout the world
· To gain a deeper appreciation for different cultures from around the world
Description:
Each student will present information about the two countries that he or she has chosen. Presentations must include multimedia links that can be shared in class and on the course website. Where probable or necessary, these multimedia presentations should be in their native language with the capability of translation into English.
Technical Specifications:
· Powerpoint® presentation
· 7-15 minute presentation
· Multimedia that can be posted to course website
· Brief 1-page handout
Grading Criteria: (100 points total)
· Grades will be based on:
o Correct grammar, spelling and punctuation on handout and during presentation
o Handout (10 points)
o Presentation skills
o Relevant information provided from paper template
Percentage of Grade:
10% (total) 5% for each presentation
